Project Weekend DIY Refund Policy

At Project Weekend DIY, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If something isn't right, we're here to help.

30-Day Return Window

You have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. Contact us within this window to start the process.

What Can Be Returned

To be eligible for a return, your item must meet all of the following:

  • Same condition as when you received it
  • Unused and unopened (where applicable)
  • Original packaging intact
  • Proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation)

How to Start a Return

Step 1: Contact us at Store@projectweekenddiy.com or call 303-351-1293

Step 2: If approved, we'll send you a return shipping label and instructions

Step 3: Ship the item back using the provided label

Important: Items sent back without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Damaged or Defective Items

Inspect your order upon delivery. If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item:

  1. Contact us immediately at Store@projectweekenddiy.com
  2. Include photos of the damage or defect
  3. We'll evaluate the issue and make it right

We respond to damage claims within 1 business day.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

Custom or special order items Made specifically for you
Sale or clearance items All sales final
Gift cards Non-refundable

Exchanges

For the fastest exchange process:

  1. Return your original item
  2. Place a new order for the replacement

This gets your replacement shipped immediately rather than waiting for return processing.

Refund Timeline

Refund issued to original payment method Within 10 business days of approval
Refund appears in your account Additional 3-5 business days (varies by bank)

Shipping Costs

  • Original shipping charges: Non-refundable (unless return is due to our error)
  • Return shipping: we send you a prepaid return label.

Restocking Fees

Most returns have no restocking fee.

Large or special order items may incur up to a 20% restocking fee. We'll inform you of any fees before processing your return.
